Peranakan Beaded Slippers
'Kasut Manek', literally meaning 'shoe beads', is a type of shoe that dates back to the early twentieth century. The kasot manek is intricately and finely hand stitched and the popular motifs used for the patterns were flowers, birds, butterflies, and fruits.
